¡Diego está de vuelta!

(Diego is back!)

Diego Maradona, one of the greatest football players of all time, has returned to the soccer field, this time as the coach of Argentina!

Diego lifts the 1986 FIFA World Cup as the captain of Argentina . . .

Maradona does not have much experience as a coach and his appointment as the head coach of Argentina came as a surprise to football fans. But his popularity remains the same wherever he goes:

His first game was an international friendly against Scotland at Hampden Park, Glasgow. Argentina won the game 1-0, thanks to an eight-minute goal from Maxi Rodriguez. Here are the highlights:

I don’t know…..Great players often do not translate to great coaches. But Argentina is a strong team with or without Maradona.

  5. I have heard a lot about him, but never watched even a single game he played… Hopefully, can watch him recreate the magic as a coach too….

his name itself has the magnetic power.. not seen much of him except some videos on youtube.. he has some great dribbling skills.
Hope he will succeed as a coach

Coaching and playing is entirely different. Some one who had done magic while playing may not be able to do the same when coaching. Anyway, expectations are high, let’s see what he can do and hope for the best. After all, we might be able to see a great game b/w brazil and argentina 😛
